home > community services > weather stations COMMUNITY WEATHER STATIONS An automatic weather station or network of stations will be installed at a convenient location(s) within the community. Each station can be tailored to the requirements of the community, and there are various levels of options available: Basic Community Weather Station, Advanced Community Weather Station & Advanced Environmental Station.

Basic Community Weather Station Measures all the pertinent weather elements required to produce a basic forecast. Advanced Community Weather Station The basic station sensors and additional options including sensors for visibility, cloud, weather type, snow depth and/or camera. Advanced Environmental Station The basic station, plus any advanced options on environmental monitoring equipment For a full list of sensors and equipment options and further details on the weather stations please contact us. The weather stations will be installed, owned and maintained by Pelmorex, ensuring continuous reliability of the equipment and data. The data gathered by each weather station will automatically be sent to, and processed by servers at Pelmorex headquarters and used to produce our detailed forecasts for the community.
