AIRPORTS
Canada's airports range from large international aviation centres to small, but essential Arctic aerodromes. All have an important part to play in Canadian air travel and all are susceptible to the weather.

During the winter months, extremes of weather and temperature can cause slippery or blocked runways and aprons; contamination of aircraft surfaces with ice or snow and hazardous working conditions for employees. Pelmorex can offer airports specific weather solutions to allow airport operations managers and engineers to better plan for adverse winter weather. By anticipating when critical thresholds will be reached, personnel, equipment and chemical requirements can be predicted, resulting in fewer runway closures, shorter flight delays and safer airports.
