COURSE: Introduction to Pelmorex Airport Weather Forecasts

Half day course aimed at airport personnel who need to know what the expected weather conditions will be.
 
The course covers interpretation and use of the Pelmorex runway weather forecast web site* and includes a basic explanation of Canadian weather phenomenon.This course covers fundamentals but is aimed mainly at how to use the web site.

COURSE: Basic Canadian Weather
Full day course for engineers and decision makers. The course covers basic meteorology that is significant to Canadian roads e.g. what is hoar frost? Black ice? Showers? freezing rain? What affects the road temperature? Also, explanations on how to get the best out of the Pelmorex Airport Weather Web Site* and use it as an effective decision making tool, but also to understand its limitations

COURSE: Weather Refresher
Half day course summarising Canadian meteorology covered in the Basic Canadian Airport Weather course, new updates to the web site, answering operational weather queries etc.All these courses can be offered in groups of between 4 and 15 people at our headquarters in Mississauga, Ontario or by arrangement, locally at your site.
